About Us
MAYA corn head journey
to the United States was started in 2013 by brothers Justin and Lance Bruch. Being raised on a 2,500-acre crop farm in northwest Iowa, Justin began a farming endeavor in western Ukraine, where he managed 175,000 acres of farmland and a fleet of 27 combines near the Polish border. Harvesting nearly 30,000 acres of corn annually, Bruch was searching for the perfect corn head to add to their operation. He tested corn heads from Europe and the United States but was disappointed in their performance, the quality of the chop, and the amount of downtime he was experiencing. After three years of searching, he finally located a corn head to meet his needs in Spain, MAYA Corn Heads. Not only was he impressed with the quality and reliability of the product, but he was equally impressed with MAYA’S owners and facility. Soon thereafter, the brother started the journey of bringing this tried and true corn head to America.
They opened a facility in Emmetsburg, Iowa,
where Lance runs the day-to-day operations while still
farming alongside Justin. In 2014, Rick Nelson joined the
ownership team and leads the charge in sales, support, and
business development. As a farmer from Iola, Kansas, Rick also
understands how vital a reliable corn head is to an operation.
Today, MAYA has dealers along with parts/service support
dealers in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Nebraska, and Texas.
Expansion plans are underway across the Midwest.
